Cavnue is excited to welcome both Pete Kenny and Chanay Peterson to the company.
Pete Kenny will serve as General Counsel for Cavnue. Pete began his career with Sidley Austin in New York City. After moving to Chicago, practicing for Horwood Marcus & Berk, and moving in-house to Goss International, Pete accepted a position with Hewlett-Packard (HP) outside of Dallas, Texas. During his time at HP and successor entities, Pete was a director and lead attorney for the services unit’s Health Care, State & Local, and Canadian Public Sector divisions. Following a decade at HP and successors, Pete moved to Perspecta Inc. where he served as Vice President / Deputy General Counsel and lead attorney for Perspecta's Enterprise Contracts, Business Development, Supply Chain & Partnering, and State & Local functions. Pete received his B.A. from Boston College and his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.
Chanay Peterson will serve as the Chief of Staff for Cavnue’s Michigan office. Driven by her passion for increased opportunities for the citizens of Detroit, she takes pride in building meaningful relationships and generating innovative solutions. Prior to joining Cavnue, she served as a Special Projects Manager for the Mayor’s Office managing multiple projects and key initiatives for the Chief Operation Officer. Most recently she was the Program Manager for the GOAL Line program, an innovative program in Northwest Detroit that provides transportation and afterschool programming for students from 16 partner schools in Northwest Detroit. Chanay graduated from Michigan State University with her B.A.in Human Resources and Sociology.
