Vice President, Operations

As Vice President of Operations, you will be tasked with facilitating flawless execution in Cavnue’s technology and product organization. This means planning, directing, coordinating, and overseeing all mission-critical operational activity for the team bringing Cavnue’s vision and product roadmap to life.

In this role, you will equip our tech and execution teams with tomorrow’s technology. You will build and own operational systems from testing through go live. You will oversee logistics for the company enabling the logistics networks of the future. And you will design and implement processes that make Cavnue better, faster, and more efficient.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading the internal operations for all of Cavnue’s activities, in service of its mission to build the future of roads.

  • Managing Cavnue’s physical assets and ensuring that they meet all technical and non-technical requirements, including Cavnue’s vehicle fleet and facilities.

  • Creating, monitoring, and managing key performance indicators for Cavnue operations and people.

  • Ensuring that the build-out of Cavnue’s test and pilot facilities which may include hands-on work, runs on time, and efficiently.

  • Proactively identifying, recommending, and implementing new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources, including managing Cavnue’s IT solutions.

  • Playing a leading role in Cavnue’s recruiting, onboarding, training, and people operations functions.

  • Helping to ensure that all of Cavnue’s operations remain compliant, in partnership with other functions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.

  • ~10+ years of experience leading operations in a complex environment, ideally including early-stage startup experience. Preferred candidates will have experience in automotive, robotics, logistics, or the broader mobility sector.

  • Expert knowledge of best practices in operations management

  • Proficiency with project management tools, software, and best practices.

  • Experience with identifying and implementing IT solutions is a plus.

  • This position requires candidates who are proactive in addressing potential issues, comfortable working under uncertainty, and able to be scrappy and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
